On January 29, leaders of Hue Green Park Center said that the unit is urgently completing the final stages to install and decorate mascots to welcome the Binh Ngo Lunar New Year 2026.

This year, Hue City has a new point when arranging 3 large-scale mascot models in public spaces, instead of focusing on one location as in previous years. The locations include: square in front of Quoc Hoc Hue High School for the Gifted, park in front of Hue City People's Committee headquarters and Thuong Bac Park.
According to the plan, the installation of mascots starts from January 30 (December 12 of the lunar calendar) and will be completed on February 7 (December 20 of the lunar calendar), serving people and tourists to visit and admire during Tet.

The Binh Ngo mascot was chosen with the image of a horse - symbolizing the will to rise up, perseverance, speed and aspiration for development. In the context of 2026 associated with many important political events of the country, such as celebrating the success of the 14th National Party Congress and the anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of Vietnam, the mascot image also carries a message of faith, solidarity and a new atmosphere entering a new stage of development.

Along with decorating mascots, Hue Green Park Center is simultaneously planting flowers, pruning green trees, renovating parks, creating a spacious and fresh urban space, serving the needs of people and tourists to enjoy spring and celebrate Tet.
