According to the plan, the Son La People's Committee assigned the district People's Committee to direct the People's Committee of the commune to organize the people's opinions at the commune -level units to arrange; Summarizing the report reporting to the Department of Home Affairs at the latest on April 19.
The Department of Home Affairs synthesizes and develops a report on the results of the public consultation, to be completed on April 20.
On April 21, 2025, a thematic People's Council meeting will be held at all district and commune levels to vote on the merger policy.
On this basis, the Department of Home Affairs coordinates the district People's Committee to complete the project. The district People's Committee sent the results attached to the Resolution of the People's Council to the Department of Home Affairs before April 21, 2025.
On April 23, 2025, the Department of Home Affairs advised the Provincial People's Committee to submit the project dossier to the Provincial People's Council and report to the Provincial Party Committee's Steering Committee 398.
Complete the dossier of the Project on arranging and reorganizing administrative units at the commune level in the province to submit to the Ministry of Home Affairs and the Government. No later than April 30, 2025.
After the National Assembly Standing Committee issued an official resolution, Son La province will organize implementation on the field.
It is known that Son La province currently has 200 commune-level administrative units, including 177 communes, 15 wards and 8 towns.
