According to records of Lao Dong Newspaper reporters, the Tan Son fishing port upgrade project (Thai Thuy commune), the implemented volume reached about 45%. Some important items such as the road to the Eastern port and the management and operation house have been basically completed. The road to the Eastern fishing port has been completed. The wharf management and operation house, the implemented volume reached 95%; the remaining part is doors, lighting equipment, sanitation and staircase railings.
Representatives of the construction unit said that because the project both carried out dredging and built items on the wharf in construction conditions in the seaport waters, the implementation process must simultaneously ensure safety for people, works and ships entering and leaving. Therefore, during the construction process, the mobilization and operation of dredging drainage vessels encountered many difficulties.

Similarly, the project to upgrade and renovate Mo Dao culvert (K187+700 left dike of Hong Ha II, Hong Vu commune) currently reaches about 35% of the construction volume. The contractor has completed a number of items such as manufacturing valve shaft equipment, constructing temporary dams, treating the foundation and bottom of the culvert body on the field side; the remaining items are continuing to be implemented.


For the project to upgrade and renovate Dinh Cu sluice (Dong Tien Hai commune), it has reached about 35% of the volume, basically completed the foundation and is constructing the sluice body and mechanical equipment.
Meanwhile, the project to renovate and upgrade the left dike of the Red River section from K117+900 to K126+500 has reached about 80% of the volume. Currently, the contractor is focusing on removing the remaining obstacles, striving to complete according to the plan.
The project to renovate and upgrade the left dyke of the Red River helps strengthen the dyke's resistance to the pressure of the Red River water during the rainy and storm season, improve the dyke surface to make people's travel more convenient, connect trade between riverside areas and protect residential areas in the dyke.
Previously, through actual inspection, Vice Chairman of Hung Yen Provincial People's Committee Lai Van Hoan emphasized that disaster prevention and control works are of particular importance in ensuring people's safety and socio-economic development, therefore requiring units to focus highly on human resources, materials, and equipment, accelerate construction progress, and ensure completion before this year's rainy and storm season.
