In the days leading up to Tet, the construction and decoration atmosphere in many localities in Lao Cai became urgent in order to complete the items to serve the new year in time.
In the provincial center, the "Two Horses" mascot pair has been completed and installed in August 19th Square - an area where major cultural and political events regularly take place. As soon as it was launched, the mascot cluster quickly attracted the attention of the people.
With a healthy and strong design style, the pair of mascot horses of Lao Cai received many compliments in this year's mascot "race".

According to records on February 14, in addition to the central area, in key areas such as Sa Pa, Bao Ha, Bat Xat..., many horse mascots have been completed and ready to serve people visiting and checking in.
Real-world observation shows that the mascots are elaborately and meticulously crafted, creating a strong standing shape with flexible lines, evoking a feeling of continuous movement. The overall design expresses the dynamic spirit and aspiration to break through of the locality in the new year.

Around the mascot, red and white flowers are prominently decorated, below are arranged gold bars symbolizing fortune and prosperity. The words "Happy New Year 2026" are placed in an easy-to-see position, creating accents for the space.
Ms. Nguyen Thi Hai Van (Hanoi tourist) shared that she was impressed with the horse mascot in Sa Pa because of its majestic and courageous appearance, promising to become an attractive check-in point during Tet.

At this time, many roads and pedestrian streets in Lao Cai have been decorated with flags and flowers, and installed LED lighting systems to serve spring welcoming activities.
In residential areas, people also simultaneously clean up, decorate houses, and hang national flags, contributing to renewing the urban appearance, creating a bustling and warm spring atmosphere.
Especially in Bao Ha commune - where Bao Ha Temple is located - decoration work was also deployed early. Many roads are filled with red flags and flowers, creating a festival space to serve people and tourists.
Representatives of the Bao Ha Commune Relic and Tourism Development Management Board said that this year the temple area has been supplemented with the golden horse mascot, contributing to increasing the joyful and excited atmosphere for tourists when visiting and worshiping at the beginning of spring.
