On June 27, informing PV, a representative of the Party Committee of Thuc Phan ward said that from 9 pm last night, floods on the Hien and Bang rivers had begun to recede.
According to the People's Committee of Thuc Phan ward, after the floodwaters on the Bang and Hien rivers receded, the locality acknowledged and praised the proactive and responsible spirit of the forces and people in disaster prevention and control, contributing to ensuring safety of life and limiting property damage.
To soon stabilize life, the Ward People's Committee requests agencies, units and people to urgently complete environmental sanitation according to the motto "water recedes to where, clean up to there".

Households need to collect waste and mud in the right places, clear drainage systems and implement disinfection and sterilization in flooded areas to prevent epidemics from arising after rain and floods.
Local authorities also recommend that people continue to closely monitor weather developments, do not go through deep flooded areas, fast-flowing water or locations with risk of landslides, unsteady riverbanks and stream banks.
At the same time, it is necessary to carefully check the electrical system and electrical equipment before using them again after a period of flooding to ensure safety.
In addition, residential groups are required to continue to review and statistically assess damage caused by rain and floods, promptly support affected households and report to the Ward People's Committee for summarization according to regulations.
When people detect incidents such as landslides, damage to works, fallen green trees or unsafe situations, they need to quickly inform the residential group or local authorities for handling.
According to the People's Committee of Thuc Phan ward, although the water level has decreased, the risk of localized flooding and landslides is still present, especially in areas along rivers, streams and steep terrain.

Local authorities request people to continue to raise their vigilance, strictly comply with the recommendations of functional agencies, and actively participate in environmental sanitation, contributing to restoring the landscape and soon stabilizing life after natural disasters.
Functional forces also said that they will continue to closely monitor weather developments and promptly inform people when new situations arise.
