At the meeting, Ms. L wrote a report, admitted to violating the Traffic Law and signed a commitment not to repeat the offense.
However, Tuy Duc District Police have not been able to issue a penalty decision due to insufficient legal basis.
Explaining this, the Traffic Police Team, Tuy Duc District Police said that the Krong Pac District Police (Dak Lak) affirmed that in order to handle Ms. L's violation in accordance with the law, a decision to request an appraisal of the video posted on social networks was needed.
Therefore, when Krong Pac District Police send complete legal documents, the competent authority can issue a decision on the penalty.
According to information from the Traffic Police Team, Krong Pac District Police, through working with the unit, Ms. L admitted that she was the person in the video broadcast live on social media on December 10.
Ms. L admitted that while driving through Tuy Duc district, she sang karaoke while driving, carried more people than allowed, and did not wear a seat belt.
After working with Ms. L, Krong Pac District Police sent a document to Tuy Duc District Police, requesting that the case be handled according to their authority.
As reported by Lao Dong Newspaper, on December 10, Ms. N.T.L drove a 7-seat car carrying 5 people to provide wedding services in village 2, Quang Truc commune, Tuy Duc district, Dak Nong province.
On the way from the wedding party to Dak Buk So commune (Tuy Duc district), everyone turned on their iPads to sing karaoke.
Then, someone passed the mic to Ms. L to sing. While singing, someone used Ms. L's phone to broadcast live on Facebook.
