In recent days, people living around the headquarters of the People's Committee of Huong Van Ward (Huong Tra Town) have been surprised and worried about a series of yellow apricot trees in the premises of this agency being blown up, with roots cut off, and bulbs. Notably, the incident occurred just a few days before the handover of the headquarters.
According to research, the above apricot trees were contributed and planted by the ward union and residential groups in response to the "Golden apricot trees in the alley" movement launched by the Hue City People's Committee.
A resident living near the headquarters of the People's Committee of Huong Van Ward said, why are these apricot trees being dug up in the hot weather? These apricot trees may be sold, so they will be blown up, their roots cut and the buds are tied to facilitate transportation.
According to Mr. Nguyen Xuan Chinh - Chairman of Huong Van Ward People's Committee, there is no such thing as apricot trees being dug up for sale, they are only maintaining the root system because the trees are weak, and have now been finished.
Tomorrow, June 25, the headquarters of the People's Committee of Huong Van Ward will be handed over to the Hue City Military Command. About a month ago, the People's Committee of Huong Tra town directed Huong Van ward to keep the headquarters intact until the handover was completed.
After being dug up, the roots were cut and the buds were gathered, the apricot trees were filled with sand but the phenomenon of leaf leakage is happening.
