On December 25, information from the People's Committee of Mang Den commune said that it had issued 4 decisions to sanction administrative violations against individuals who illegally occupied production forest land in the area.
The individuals who were fined include: Mr. Tu Tan Phuong, Mr. A Dang, Mr. Lo Van Thuan and Mr. A Xe, with a total amount of fines and forced to remedy the consequences of more than 148 million VND.
Specifically, Mr. Tu Tan Phuong was fined more than 40.5 million VND for occupying 4,040 m2 of production forest land in sub-zone 474, Vi Ring village. Mr. A Dang was fined more than 40 million VND for occupying 3,600 m2 of production forest land in sub-area 474, Kon Tu Ma village.

In addition to fines and being forced to return illegal profits, the above individuals were also forced to restore the land to its original state before the violation.
Strictly handling violations aims to strengthen the management and protection of forest land in the area. Especially for Mang Den, an attractive tourist destination, with a cool climate thanks to diverse primeval forests.
Forests in Mang Den are often targeted by the commune government with a movement to plant forestry trees to increase coverage, contributing to creating a particularly natural climate for the national eco-tourism area.
