HUE - Hue University of Medicine and Pharmacy Hospital warns about the discovery of a number of fake ultrasound results.

On February 6, speaking with Lao Dong, a representative of the Hue City Department of Health informed that after receiving information about the incident of impersonating Hue University of Medicine and Pharmacy Hospital to perform ultrasound and return ultrasound results, the Department immediately coordinated to grasp and provide information to the police force for verification and handling to ensure the rights and health of patients and prevent bad situations from happening.

Previously, Associate Professor, Dr. Nguyen Khoa Hung - Director of Hue University of Medicine and Pharmacy Hospital said that the hospital had just issued a warning to everyone about the situation of impersonating the hospital to perform ultrasound and return ultrasound results.

Accordingly, during the examination, doctors from the Department of Diagnostic Imaging of Hue University of Medicine and Pharmacy Hospital discovered two suspected fake ultrasound results.

Upon inspection, the hospital confirmed that there was no sample result that matched the two ultrasound results provided by the patient. The Department of Diagnostic Imaging also did not have any doctor with the name as shown in the results, and the patient code when compared was not in the H-soft system.

According to Hue University of Medicine and Pharmacy Hospital, forgery not only takes advantage of the hospital's reputation but also affects the hospital's professional quality.
