The scammers use mobile phone numbers to contact customers, pretending to be electricity employees. Then they ask people to pay their electricity bills immediately, otherwise the electricity will be cut off.
Customers are instructed to deposit money into their personal accounts and asked to provide personal information and add Zalo friends.
The fake phone numbers recorded according to customer feedback include 03538320XX, 09964668XX, 07764962XX.
Quang Tri Electricity recommends that customers be careful when receiving calls with similar content, and absolutely do not transfer electricity bills to personal accounts.
