At the end of today's trading session, the VN-Index increased by 10.42 points to 1,288.56 points. Liquidity on the HOSE floor reached nearly VND14,500 billion with a trading volume of over 814.5 million shares. The market developments were positive with 349 stocks increasing in price, overwhelming compared to 119 stocks decreasing in price and 68 stocks stopping at price.
On the HNX floor, the market increased by 1.95 points to 237.79 points with liquidity reaching more than VND 1,593.7 billion. UPCOM was the only index to decrease slightly by 0.17 points, closing at 99.34 points. The total trading value on the two exchanges HOSE and HNX reached about VND19,1 trillion, an increase of VND4,300 billion compared to the previous session.
A notable highlight is the return of net buying by foreign investors after a series of 12 consecutive net selling sessions. In this session, foreign investors net bought a total of 396 billion VND in the whole market. Of which, on HOSE, foreign investors net bought VND354 billion, focusing on OCB (VND60 billion), TCH (VND54 billion) and FPT (VND47 billion). HNX also recorded a net purchase of VND64 billion, while UPCOM was still under net selling pressure of VND22 billion.
The group of large-cap stocks increased prices simultaneously, led by the VN30 group with 26 stocks increasing, 3 stocks decreasing and 1 sto sto stock. Bank stocks recorded impressive growth with EIB increasing by 5.14%, OCB increasing by 1.72%. The securities group also responded to the positive trend of the market when VDS increased by 2.14%, VIX increased by 2.28%, HCM increased by 1.18%, VCI increased by 1.11%, MBS increased by 1.8%...
Real estate stocks recorded a strong breakthrough: TCH, SIP increased the ceiling; CEO increased 6.57%, KHG increased 6.55%, NTL increased 4.31%, IDC increased 3.72%, DXG increased 3.73%, SZC increased 3.49%, KBC increased 3.25%...
Not only the main industry groups, many telecommunications, utility, consumer goods stocks... also increased sharply such as: REE, YEG increased the ceiling, MWG increased 2.39%, MSN increased 1.96%, BAF increased 2.18%, DBC increased 2.21%, HHS increased 6.49%...
In general, the stock market is improving as cash flow spreads and liquidity improves. Foreign investors' return to net buying can be an important support signal, boosting positive sentiment for investors in the coming sessions.
