According to satellite cloud images, weather radar images and lightning positioning data, convection clouds are developing and causing rain with thunderstorms and lightning in neighborhoods, groups, hamlets, and villages in An Thoi Dong commune (Ly Thai Buu hamlet, Ly Hoa Hiep hamlet) and Kim Long commune.
In the next 3 hours, convective clouds will continue to develop, causing showers with thunderstorms and lightning in the above areas, then it is likely to expand to neighboring areas such as Can Gio commune, Binh Khanh commune and Binh Gia commune. Common rainfall is from 5-15 mm, in some places over 20 mm.
During thunderstorms, people need to be wary of tornadoes, lightning, hail and strong gusts of wind at level 5-7 (8-17 m/s).
