Weather pattern forecast for the next 24-48 hours, the low pressure trough with its axis through the North will continue to weaken. Southwest monsoon maintains activity with intensity from moderate to strong. Above, the subtropical high pressure in the southern branch tends to weaken.
Weather pattern forecast for the next 3-10 days, the low pressure trough through the North continues to weaken, until around July 14-15, a new low pressure trough will form with its axis passing through this area. Southwest monsoon gradually decreases, maintaining at an average level, while the upper subtropical high pressure tends to encroach westward.
Due to the impact of the above weather patterns, the Southern region is forecast to have scattered showers and thunderstorms, common rainfall from 15-30mm, locally heavy to very heavy rain with rainfall over 100mm.
During thunderstorms, people need to be wary of tornadoes, lightning, hail and strong gusts of wind that can cause trees to fall, damage houses, traffic works and infrastructure. Heavy rain also poses a risk of flooding, disrupting traffic, affecting production, living and crops.
