On May 16, in an exchange with Lao Dong Newspaper, a representative of Thanh Xuan Ward People's Committee said that these days, on Nhan Hoa, Chinh Kinh, Nguyen Trai streets... the demolition and site clearance of the 2.5 Ring Road project, Nguy Nhu Kon Tum - Nguyen Trai section, is being urgently and drastically implemented by the ward.
Many excavators, trucks and dozens of workers worked continuously day and night to dismantle houses in the site clearance area.
Many works have been dismantled, the ground is gradually revealed, opening up the shape of a new road - a road that is expected to contribute to reducing congestion, completing traffic infrastructure and creating motivation for urban development in the area.
Many households are also urgently moving furniture and dismantling the final items to hand over the site for the project.

Previously, on May 15, Thanh Xuan ward awarded 63 support packages, worth a total of 315 million VND to families of people with meritorious services, social protection beneficiaries and households in difficult circumstances in the site clearance area of the Ring Road 2.5 project, Nguy Nhu Kon Tum - Nguyen Trai section. On the same occasion, Thanh Xuan ward awarded 116 unexpected support packages, giving gifts to children in particularly difficult circumstances on the occasion of International Children's Day June 1, 2026. The total support amount of 456 million VND was deducted from the ward's "For the Poor" Fund.
Standing Deputy Secretary of Thanh Xuan Ward Party Committee Tran Thi Thu Ha emphasized that the Ring Road 2.5 project is of great significance in completing traffic infrastructure, urban embellishment and creating development momentum for the area. However, the implementation process directly affects the lives and residences of many households, so the ward determines that site clearance work must be both drastic, in accordance with regulations, on schedule, and ensure humanity, close to the people, close to the people, and share the legitimate difficulties of the people.
The Standing Deputy Secretary of the Ward Party Committee also acknowledged the consensus of the families in the land clearance area. Although still concerned about new accommodation and stabilizing their lives after relocation, many households have coordinated to receive compensation money, move assets and hand over land to serve the project.
