On July 7, Vung Tau Ward People's Committee (HCMC) said that functional forces are starting to deploy construction to expand and renovate a section of the road on Hai Dang street - the road leading to the peak of Nho mountain (Tao Phung mountain).
This is a route that attracts quite a lot of people and tourists to visit, explore, and check-in in Vung Tau ward. Because along this route there are many interesting destinations such as rows of cotton trees, bougainvillea... and places where you can admire the entire Vung Tau area from above. At the top of the mountain is one of the oldest lighthouses in Vietnam, built in 1862.

Because it often welcomes a large number of tourists to visit and experience, this route is quite narrow, along with the "shirt turn" at the beginning of the route, so congestion often occurs on weekends and holidays. Therefore, local authorities have implemented renovation and expansion of the above route section with a length of 220m to facilitate traffic, while ensuring safety for people and tourists.
According to Vung Tau Ward People's Committee, the expanded section has a total length of about 220m, with complete investment in sidewalks, drainage systems, lighting... with a total investment of more than 25 billion VND. After expansion, traffic safety will be ensured for vehicles, reducing congestion on weekends and holidays. The construction unit will accelerate the implementation, so that the project can be completed soon and put into use in 2027.
