On the afternoon of February 24, the Quang Tri Provincial Military Command confirmed that the Martyr Remains Search and Collection Team 584 (Team 584) under the unit had just discovered and collected 3 more martyrs' remains in Cau Nhi village (Nam Chanh village, Hai Chanh commune, Hai Lang district, Quang Tri province).
The remains of the martyrs found were wrapped in a hammock, lying on the ground at a depth of about 1m, with bones and some accompanying relics.
Previously, on February 17, also at the above location, Team 584 found and collected 3 martyrs' remains.
Currently, all 6 martyrs' remains have been brought to the register at the Hai Lang District Martyrs' Cemetery, guarded by officers and soldiers of Team 584 and the incense is being carefully burned.
Colonel Nguyen Ba Duan, Deputy Secretary of the Military Party Committee, Political Commissar of the Quang Tri Provincial Military Command, came to burn incense and visit the remains of martyrs who had just been gathered in Nam Chanh village.
Through inspection and grasp of the situation, Colonel Nguyen Ba Duan requested Team 584 to continue to do a good job of closely coordinating with local Party committees, authorities and people; expand the area for searching and collecting martyrs' remains, ensuring absolute safety in all aspects.
