On March 27, in an exchange with a reporter from Lao Dong Newspaper, Mr. Ta Viet Thuat - Chairman of Phu Binh Commune People's Committee confirmed that a labor accident had just occurred in the area.
Accordingly, the incident occurred on the afternoon of March 26 at the embankment construction site in Thuong hamlet (former Bao Ly commune, now Phu Binh commune, Thai Nguyen). At that time, a construction worker was suddenly buried by soil and rocks, leading to death.
The victim died in Pho Yen. The project investor is the Department of Agriculture and Environment, assigned to the Sub-Department of Irrigation for implementation.
After the accident, functional agencies were present at the scene to handle the incident," the leader added.
Currently, the cause of the labor accident is being investigated and clarified.
