Up to now, the items have been implemented on schedule. Half of the road surface from the slope of Hanoi Obstetrics and Gynecology Hospital to the Voi Phuc intersection with a length of about 350m has been paved with asphalt concrete to serve travel during the Lunar New Year.
The remaining section is being constructed to grade 2 crushed stone base layer. Technical infrastructure and temporary traffic plans are also being constructed synchronously, limiting impact on people.
Leaders of the Hanoi Civil Engineering Construction Investment Project Management Board said that the investor directed contractors to focus on synchronous day and night construction throughout the route to ensure project completion as soon as possible.
On the route, there are 2 very important overpasses, which are the Lang Ha - Giang Vo and Nguyen Chi Thanh intersection overpasses. According to the construction method, the time is longer, but all efforts in 2026 will have to be completed" - said the leader of the Hanoi Civil Works Construction Investment Project Management Board.
Mr. Nguyen Xuan Nam - Deputy Director of Trading and Service Company 68 said that currently the company is organizing "3 shifts, 4 teams" to soon bring the project to completion, serving the travel needs of the people.
According to the plan, the project will be completed by the end of 2026, but the contractor is mobilizing machinery and personnel to accelerate progress, striving to complete the project before September 2, 2026.
In parallel with the progress, supervision work is carried out strictly. Each layer of structure, each meter of asphalt paving is only accepted when it meets technical standards before moving to the next stage.
The project to invest in the construction of Ring Road 1, Hoang Cau - Voi Phuc section, the project has its starting point at the intersection with Cat Linh - La Thanh - Yen Lang road at Hoang Cau; the ending point at Voi Phuc traffic junction.
The total length of the route is about 2,274km, the cross-section scale is 50m. Total investment is more than 7,210 billion VND. Project implementation time is from 2018 to 2026.
The total recovered area is about 153. 341m2, related to 1,983 households and organizations in Dong Da and Ba Dinh districts before (now O Cho Dua, Giang Vo and Lang wards).
By December 15, 2025, the wards have completed site clearance to hand over to investors to implement the project.
