According to Lao Dong's records in the last days of December 2025, all works within the scope of the Ring Road 1 project, Hoang Cau - Voi Phuc section, have been demolished.

Information from the Hanoi Department of Construction said that site clearance work is being urgently deployed, expected to be completed before December 31, 2025, striving to complete traffic clearance before January 15, 2026.
The project invests in the construction of Ring Road 1, Hoang Cau - Voi Phuc section, the project has its starting point at the intersection with Cat Linh - La Thanh - Yen Lang road at Hoang Cau; the ending point at Voi Phuc traffic junction.
The total length of the route is about 2,274km, the cross-section scale is 50m.
The project is fully invested throughout the route according to the plan, with main items including: Site clearance; foundation, road surface, intersection, drainage, technical moat system, lighting, green trees, sidewalks, traffic organization and movement of underground and above-ground works within the investment scope.
On the route, there are 2 overpass projects (at Lang Ha - Giang Vo intersection and Nguyen Chi Thanh intersection). Total investment is more than 7,210 billion VND. Project implementation time is from 2018 to 2026.
The total recovered area is about 153,341m2, involving 1,983 households and organizations in Dong Da and Ba Dinh districts before (now O Cho Dua, Giang Vo and Lang wards).
By December 15, 2025, the wards have completed site clearance to hand over to the investor to implement the project.
In just over 5 months (calculated from the time of operating the 2-level local government model), 3 wards have completed compensation, support, resettlement, and land recovery for 1,295 households, while in the previous 7 years, districts only resolved 686 households.
Mr. Nguyen Tan Nam An - Head of Project Implementation Management Department 1, Hanoi Civil Construction Investment Project Management Board - said that after being handed over the entire clean site, the investor directed contractors to simultaneously deploy the relocation of underground and surface infrastructure; relocate and cut down green trees; construct road items, build direct overpasses on the route, striving to complete the project in 2026 according to the direction of Hanoi City People's Committee.
According to Politburo Member, Secretary of the Hanoi Party Committee Nguyen Duy Ngoc, the construction of a ring road system in the capital is very urgent, aiming to serve the travel needs of the people as well as serve the socio-economic development of the city and localities in the Hanoi Capital Region.
Therefore, completing site clearance work for projects is very important, creating an important premise for completing projects.
