On the evening of June 3, speaking with a reporter from Lao Dong Newspaper, the leader of the People's Committee of Van Ban District, Lao Cai Province confirmed that the body of a man was discovered in a lake in Khanh Yen Town.
Through verification, the victim was Mr. Pham Hong Thai (born in 1971, residing in Group 9, Khanh Yen Town).
Initial information, the incident occurred at around 5:30 p.m. on June 3. At that time, the victim was swimming in a lake in the center of Khanh Yen town, having swam for a few rounds.
However, the victim later drowned and died.
Currently, the victim's body has been handed over to his family for funeral arrangements.
