Flash floods suddenly swept away a man in Nong Son district, Quang Nam province and left him missing.

On the morning of November 6, Nong Son district leaders confirmed that one local resident was missing due to floodwaters.

The incident occurred at around 4:40 p.m. on November 5. The victim, Mr. P.H.S (born in 1980, in Que Loc commune, Nong Son district), was riding his motorbike across a flooded section of DT611 road, near the martyrs' cemetery in Son Vien commune, when he was suddenly swept away by flash floods.

The area was deeply flooded due to prolonged heavy rain. Local authorities have taken warning measures and installed barriers to direct traffic. However, Mr. P.H.S still entered the flooded area, leading to the unfortunate accident - Nong Son district leaders added.
