At around 4:00 p.m. on June 2, a man was taken to Binh Thuan General Hospital for emergency treatment but died.
According to colleagues working together, present at the hospital, the victim worked at a construction site in Phan Thiet city. When it rained, this person climbed from a high floor to take shelter from the rain and had an accident and fell to the ground.
The victim was identified as Mr. L.N.T (born in 1992, residing in Ham Tri commune, Ham Thuan Bac district). After the incident, the victim's body was taken home by relatives for funeral arrangements.
Previously, since the beginning of 2025, the Department of Construction of Binh Thuan province has directed to strengthen management and rectify the work of ensuring labor safety in construction works in the province. Because according to this Department, there are still some construction projects that have not focused on and fully implemented measures to ensure labor safety according to regulations.
This Department requires construction contractors to identify dangerous areas in construction according to the provisions of law, technical regulations and implement measures to ensure safety for people and property, including technical safety measures for deep and elevated excavated holes during construction to avoid people falling, falling, accidents, etc.
