Initial information determined that the fire broke out at around 9:00 a.m. on August 25 at the restaurant of Mr. N.V.D's family (in Sang village, Chieng Coi ward, Son La province).
Because the restaurant was covered with flammable corrugated iron, the fire quickly broke out and spread to other areas.
Upon receiving the report, the Fire Prevention, Fire Fighting and Rescue Police Department, Son La Provincial Police dispatched 2 fire trucks and 16 officers and soldiers to the scene to put out the fire.
After about 30 minutes, the fire was controlled. The fire did not cause any human casualties, but many furniture, belongings, and assets of the restaurant were burned down.
The cause of the fire is being investigated by the authorities.
