On August 13, Dong Thap Provincial Police are urgently verifying and investigating a fatal electrocution incident that occurred at a tourist area in Tan Phu Dong Commune (Dong Thap Province).
Initial information said that at around 9:00 a.m. on August 11, Mr. D.V.K (24 years old, living in Phu Huu Hamlet, Tan Phu Dong Commune, Dong Thap Province) was an employee of an eco-tourism area in this locality. When using a high-pressure water spraying machine to clean, he was electrocuted and fell to the ground. Immediately afterwards, the victim was taken to the emergency room but died.
The authorities conducted an examination of the scene, an autopsy and determined that the victim died from electrocution.
