    Son La - A teenager went missing while fishing with two friends on the Nam Chien Hydropower lake, Ngoc Chien commune.

    At about 10 am on July 13, in the Nam Chien Hydropower Lake area, Ngoc Chien commune, Son La province, a 13-year-old teenager went missing while fishing with two friends.

    Mr. Chang A Dang, Secretary of the Party Cell, Head of Long Cang village, said that the three children, including Giang A T (born 2013), Giang A D (born 2012) and Giang A Th (born 2012), invited each other to bring homemade buoys made of car tires pumped into Nam Chien Hydropower Lake to fish.

    When moving to the middle of the lake, realizing that the water was deep and dangerous, all three returned to the shore. While moving, Giang A Th unfortunately slipped off the buoy, fell into the water and went missing.

    Two children T and D quickly swam ashore, shouting to find rescuers.

    Immediately after receiving the news, local forces, villagers and Ngoc Chien Commune Police urgently deployed to search for the victim.

    Up to now, the victim has not been found. Search work is being actively deployed by forces.
