On June 13, the People's Committee of Tu Mo Rong district, Kon Tum province, said that in the past two days, heavy rain accompanied by strong gusts of wind has caused a lot of damage in some communes in the area.
Although there were no human casualties, many houses had their roofs blown off, landslides and property damage. Local authorities are urgently deploying remedial measures to ensure the safety of the people.

Accordingly, Tu Mo Rong district has recorded damage in some communes. Specifically, in Mang Ri and Dak Ro Ong communes, each locality has a house with a roof blown off. The commune government has quickly supported people to overcome the situation.
In Ngok Lay commune, a house in Mo Za village had its roof blown off and its rice grinder damaged.
Te Xang commune was hit more severely, with one house having its kitchen blown away by the wind and another house having its corrugated iron roof damaged by fallen trees. Shock troops are being mobilized to support the recovery.
In Tu Mo Rong commune, a house in Tu Mo Rong village had its roof blown off about 45 square meters, and was promptly repaired.

Dak Ha commune also recorded a house having a landslide and another house having its roof blown off in Kon Ling village. The affected households have been evacuated to a safe place.
To ensure the safety of the people, the People's Committees of the communes have put up ropes and warning stakes in areas at risk of landslides; at the same time, continue to review, count damage and propose appropriate handling plans.
Shock troops have also been mobilized to repair minor damages on traffic routes to ensure smooth travel. At the same time, organize the Association of Houses, support people to reinforce their housing and relocate when necessary.
