Notably, in Lay village, Muoi Noi commune, there are 241 households with 910 people living within the sliding arc with complex geological conditions. This area has many large cracks, landslides continue to develop, with a very high risk of landslides occurring throughout the sliding arc.

In Muoi Noi commune, 44 houses were affected by landslides, of which 9 houses had to be relocated and urgently evacuated. Heavy rain and landslides also damaged many traffic routes, technical infrastructure works and public works in Muoi Noi and Nam Lau communes.

People's Committees of Muoi Noi and Nam Lau communes are required to closely monitor weather developments, organize 24/24 hour duty shifts; proactively evacuate people from dangerous areas, arrange safe temporary accommodation, and ensure essential necessities for people in evacuation areas.
