Ninh Binh - Prolonged heavy rain has isolated many residential areas along the Day River in Ninh Binh.

From the morning of September 17, the Day River water level rose, causing some areas in Thanh Lam commune, Ninh Binh province such as: Tri Xuyen, Nam Cong, Bong Lang to be isolated. Among them, Bong Lang village is the most deeply flooded area.

As for Phu Van ward, Bo Tay Song Day urban area has been completely flooded. The deepest flooded point in the area in front of Hoa Dong Restaurant recorded a water level of about 30 - 40cm. Phu Dam residential group (old Le Loi village) is currently flooded by about half.

In the area at the beginning of Hong Phu bridge and the end of the residential group, water began to flood into the foundations of some households. Many residential roads adjacent to the urban area have also been deeply flooded.

According to quick statistics from Phu Van Ward People's Committee, about 700 households are affected by flooding. Local authorities are coordinating with people to move the assets of affected households to higher locations, proactively responding to water level developments.

The water rises rapidly, many households do not have time to raise rice, paddy and other items, facing the risk of damage and property damage. In aquaculture areas, people proactively mobilize forces to net and reinforce pond banks, but many farming areas are still affected, causing damage.
