From the evening of October 17 to the morning of October 18, many areas of Hoa Bac (Hai Van ward) and Quan Nam 1 village (Lien Chieu ward) were deeply flooded. Many roads of soil and rock have flooded down, making it difficult for people to travel.
People said that heavy rain that lasted all night caused water to rise rapidly, many roads were deeply flooded, completely cutting off travel. On route DT601, rocks and soil from the slope have covered the road surface, causing traffic congestion and posing a potential risk to the safety of road users.
The road leading to Quan Nam 1 village is currently deeply flooded, authorities have erected barriers and put up warning ropes to ensure safety for people and vehicles passing through.


On DT601 road to Hoa Bac commune (old), many locations were eroded, rocks and soil spilled onto the road, endangering traffic participants. The authorities mobilized motor vehicles to the scene to level and clear the road, ensuring safe traffic for the people.
In Nam Yen village (Hai Van ward), heavy rain caused many areas to be deeply flooded, some roads were cut off, making it difficult for people to travel.

According to the Central Central Hydrometeorological Station, the rain in the past 24 hours in Da Nang City has had rain, moderate rain, and heavy rain in some places. The total rainfall in the past 24 hours (from 1:00 a.m./17.10 to 1:00 a.m./18.10) in the north was generally 5-30mm, especially Ba Na was 1.52mm; in the South, it was generally 30-70mm, in some places higher such as Hiep Duc 114.6mm, Tien Phuoc 110.8mm.
Forecast of heavy rain in the next 24 to 48 hours: from now (October 18) to early morning of October 20, in communes and wards of Da Nang city, there will be rain, moderate rain, some places have heavy rain to very heavy rain and thunderstorms, during thunderstorms, beware of lightning and strong gusts of wind. Total rainfall is generally 50-150mm, in some places over 200mm.
It is necessary to be on guard against flash floods, landslides in mountainous areas and flooding in low-lying areas and urban areas. Beware of tornadoes, lightning and strong gusts of wind during thunderstorms.
