Quang Ngai - Four fishing boats have broken anchor ropes, the authorities are supporting the owners of fishing boats to bring them to safe anchorage areas.

On October 29, Major Lo Ngoc Truc - Deputy Station Commander of Binh Thanh Border Guard Station, Quang Ngai Province, said that at around 11:30 a.m. on the same day, two fishing boats QNg-90737.TS and QNg-90816.TS of Ms. Nguyen Thi Hong Hoa (49 years old) and Mr. Pham Be (50 years old), both residing in Tuyet Diem 1 village, Van Tuong commune (old Binh Son district), were anchored in My Tan village, Binh Son commune when their anchors broke and drifted out to Khe Hai sea.

At around 12:50 p.m., fishing boat QNg-95591.TS of Mr. Huynh Vinh (47 years old), residing in My Tan village, Binh Son commune, continued to lose its anchor and drifted out to the Sa Can estuary. Then, fishing boat QNg-90586.TS, also owned by Mr. Huynh Vinh, drifted out to the same area.

Currently, Binh Thanh Border Guard Station is coordinating with local authorities, functional forces and ship owners to deploy a support plan to bring the ships to safe anchorage areas.
