On October 29, Dak Pek Commune Police, along with the Security and Order Protection Team at the grassroots level and the people, joined hands to clean up and relocate property to help Mr. A Nien's family, residing in Dak Poi village.
Prolonged heavy rain caused water from upstream to flow down the hill behind Mr. A Nien's house, causing serious damage to the house. Hundreds of blocks of rock and soil flooded in, completely breaking the structure of the house. Fortunately, at that time, Mr. A Nien's family was able to discover it and move out safely.
According to the People's Committee of Dak Pek commune, floodwaters from rivers and streams are rising rapidly, posing a potential risk of landslides, directly threatening households living along steep slopes, hillsides and areas near the stream.
Meanwhile, in Ngoc Linh commune (about 40km from Dak Pek), heavy rain caused a landslide on a hill, burying the road to Ngoc Nang village.

Traffic was cut off, causing the villages of Ngoc Nang, Mo Po, Sa Ua, Ngoc Lang and Tu Rang to be completely isolated. In five villages, there are more than 450 households with more than 1,700 people.
The Ngoc Linh commune government has mobilized police, militia and people to open trails along the hills and through the rice fields to access and support essential necessities and medicine for isolated people.

In Dak Plo commune, many landslides and flash floods continue to be recorded, mainly concentrated in Dong Loc, Mang Khen, Dak Nhoong, Dak Ung, Dak Ga, Rooc Met villages... causing serious impacts on people's houses.

Many roads were eroded, the road surface sank, traffic was cut off, making it impossible to travel.
Faced with complicated weather developments, communes have urgently deployed response plans, mobilizing maximum forces and means to evacuate, and supporting the relocation of people and property in high-risk areas.
