Some areas have humidity near saturatation (over 80%) or are in a saturated state, warning of a high risk of heavy rain, flash floods and landslides.
In the next 6 hours, areas in the area will continue to have rain, with a high risk of flash floods on small rivers and streams in mountainous areas; landslides on steep slopes and subsidence in communes and wards in the province.

According to the Standing Office of the Gia Lai Provincial Civil Defense Command, due to heavy rain lasting for more than 2 days, many localities in the West of Gia Lai province have experienced serious floods and landslides, causing damage to infrastructure and affecting people's lives.
In Ia Pa commune, floodwaters from the upstream of Dak Ia Hiao stream caused serious flooding of the spillway connecting village 1 through Mo Nang 2 village, causing the two villages to be completely cut off, affecting 614 households.
In Al Ba commune, heavy rain caused flash floods and landslides in many locations; Tung Ke Pass collapsed at 2 points, more than 20m3 of rock and soil spilled onto the road, causing traffic congestion on the morning of September 6.

At Ia Boong stream (Vuong Chep village), flood swept away 1 motorbike, 1 temporary house and 2 cows, lands about 100m of inter-village traffic road, damaged more than 5 hectares of rice in bloom. Phan Dang Luu Boarding Secondary School for Ethnic Minorities had about 35m of fence collapsed.
Heavy rain also caused trees to fall on the patrol line of checkpoint 383 ( Ia Tach Border Guard Station) about 10m long. In particular, in the Nui Klip area near Ia Mo irrigation lake dam, about 200m3 of rock and soil spilled onto the road and negative slope of National Highway 14C, causing serious landslides over a 150m long section. Many roads are currently closed to traffic due to floods and landslides.
In addition, in the East of Gia Lai province, during the thunderstorms on the night of September 6, a lightning strike hit the house of Mr. Le Van Mua (residing in Nhon Chau commune), causing property damage but no human casualties.
