Water levels of hydropower reservoirs nationwide on September 18th

Many hydropower reservoirs across the country on September 18th were lower than the normal water level, while some reservoirs in the Northern and Central Highlands regions are maintaining large discharge volumes.

According to system data updated at 2:15 PM on September 18, in the Northeast region, Tuyen Quang reservoir has an upstream water level of 116.94m, lower than the normal water level of 120m. Water flow to the reservoir is 217 m3/s, total discharge is 0 m3/s.

In the Northwest region, Lai Chau Lake has an upstream water level of 291.54m, 295m lower than the normal water level. Inflow to the lake is 1,061 m3/s, total discharge is 1,574 m3/s, all through the spillway dam.

Ban Chat Lake is at 471.72m, 475m lower than the normal water level; inflow to the lake 27 m3/s and no discharge. Huoi Quang is at 369.04m, 370m lower than the normal water level; inflow to the lake 51 m3/s, total discharge 0 m3/s.

Son La Lake has a water level of 212.12m, which is 215m lower than the normal water level. Inflow to the lake is 1,822 m3/s, total discharge is 863 m3/s through the spillway.

Hoa Binh Lake has an upstream water level of 113.35m, which is 117m lower than the normal water level. Inflow to the lake is 1,673 m3/s, total discharge is 557 m3/s through the spillway.

Thac Ba Lake is at 55.41m, lower than the normal water level by 58m. Inflow to the lake 263 m3/s, total discharge volume 288.07 m3/s.

In the North Central region, Trung Son reservoir has a water level of 155.62m, 160m lower than the normal water level. Inflow to the reservoir is 830 m3/s, total discharge is 797 m3/s, including 345 m3/s through the plant and 452 m3/s through the spillway.

Ban Ve Lake has a water level of 195.98m, 200m lower than the normal water level; inflow to the lake is 717 m3/s and is not discharged. Khe Bo Lake has a water level of 65m, equal to the normal water level, inflow to the lake is 632 m3/s, total discharge is 632 m3/s.

In the South Central Coast, A Vuong Lake has a water level of 353.39m, lower than the normal water level by 380m; inflow to the lake is 44.7 m3/s, total discharge is 44.7 m3/s. Song Ba Ha Lake has a water level of 102.94m, lower than the normal water level by 105m; inflow to the lake is 764 m3/s, total discharge is 712 m3/s.

In the Central Highlands, Ialy reservoir has a water level of 511.77m, 515m lower than the normal water level. Inflow to the reservoir is 536 m3/s, total discharge is 604 m3/s through the spillway.

Se San 3 reservoir has a water level of 304.41m, 304.5m lower than the normal water level; inflow to the reservoir 618 m3/s, total discharge 560 m3/s. Se San 4 has a water level of 214.45m, 215m lower than the normal water level; inflow to the reservoir 787 m3/s, total discharge 787 m3/s.

In the Southeast region, Tri An Lake has a water level of 59.55m, 62m lower than the normal water level. Inflow to the lake is 1,120 m3/s, total discharge is 774 m3/s through the spillway. Thac Mo Lake has a water level of 213.89m, 218m lower than the normal water level; inflow to the lake is 361.53 m3/s, total discharge is 169 m3/s.
