According to updated data at 11:10 am on August 19, in the North, Hoa Binh reservoir has an upstream water level of 104.50 m, lower than the normal water level by 117 m. The water flow to the reservoir reached 3,894 m3/s, the total discharge volume was 4,398 m3/s, of which discharge through the spillway was 1,557 m3/s and through the plant was 2,841 m3/s. The reservoir is opening 1 deep discharge gate.
Son La Lake has a water level of 196.63 m, which is 215 m lower than the normal water level. Water flow to the lake reached 2,789 m3/s, total discharge volume 3,277 m3/s.
Lai Chau Lake reached 294.29 m, close to the normal water level of 295 m. Water flow to the lake reached 1,674 m3/s, total discharge volume 1,572 m3/s, of which 94 m3/s through the spillway and 1,478 m3/s through the plant.
At Tuyen Quang reservoir, the water level is at 103 m, 120 m lower than the normal water level. Water flow to the reservoir reached 615 m3/s, total discharge volume 758.02 m3/s.
In the Central - Central Highlands region, many reservoirs continue to maintain water levels below normal water levels. Ialy Lake has a water level of 501.77 m, lower than 515 m; water inflow reaches 541 m3/s and total discharge volume is 467 m3/s.
Se San 4 reservoir has a water level of 213.68 m, which is 215 m lower than the normal water level. Water flow to the reservoir reached 822 m3/s, total discharge volume 675 m3/s.
At Pleikrông reservoir, the water level reached 552.30 m, lower than the normal water level by 570 m. Water flow returned at 456 m3/s, total discharge volume 284 m3/s.
In the Southeast region, Tri An reservoir has a water level of 53.24 m, 62 m lower than the normal water level. The water flow to the reservoir is at 1,040 m3/s, the total discharge is 613 m3/s.
