According to updated data at 11:00 am on August 25, in the North, Hoa Binh reservoir has an upstream water level of 103.48 m, lower than the normal water level of 117 m; water inflow to the reservoir is 941 m3/s, total discharge is 429 m3/s.
Son La Lake has a water level of 201.31 m, lower than the normal water level by 215 m; water inflow of 2,341 m3/s. Lai Chau Lake is at 292.23 m, lower than the normal water level by 295 m; water inflow to the lake is 1,194 m3/s, total discharge volume is 1,502 m3/s.
Tuyen Quang Lake has a water level of 105.9 m, lower than the normal water level by 120 m; water flowing into the lake is 501 m3/s. Thac Ba Lake is at 54.23 m, lower than the normal water level by 58 m; water flowing into the lake is 220 m3/s, total discharge volume is 469.21 m3/s.
In the North Central region, Ban Ve reservoir has a water level of 192.45 m, 200 m lower than the normal water level; water flowing to the reservoir is 1,101 m3/s, total discharge is 823 m3/s. Khe Bo reservoir is at 65 m, equal to the normal water level; water flow and total discharge are both 1,058.1 m3/s.
From 9 am on August 25, Ban Ve reservoir will operate water regulation through the spillway, the total discharge flow downstream is expected to be from 340 to 1,200 m3/s to ensure the safety of the project and operate flood cutting and reduction for downstream.
In the Central Highlands, Ialy Lake has a water level of 505.58 m, 515 m lower than the normal water level; water flows to the lake 343 m3/s, total discharge 214 m3/s. Se San 3 Lake has a water level of 304.13 m, 304.5 m lower than the normal water level; water flows to the lake 437 m3/s, total discharge 466 m3/s.
In the Southeast region, Tri An reservoir has a water level of 55.18 m, 62 m lower than the normal water level; water flows to the reservoir 720 m3/s, total discharge 750 m3/s. Other updated data in the morning of August 25 showed that water flow to Tri An reservoir at one point reached 820 m3/s, the water level was nearly 55.2 m.
