Water levels of hydropower reservoirs nationwide on August 23

Water levels at many hydropower reservoirs across the country on August 23 are at a fairly high level, some reservoirs in the North and Central regions have large inflows.

According to hydropower reservoir monitoring system data, at 11:00 am on August 23, in the Northwest region, Lai Chau reservoir had a water level of 292.65 m, 295 m lower than the normal water level. Inflow to the reservoir reached 1,520 m3/s, total discharge volume 1,520 m3/s.

Son La Lake has a water level of 198.94 m, 215 m lower than the normal water level. The inflow reaches 2,336 m3/s.

Hoa Binh Lake has a water level of 102.14 m, 117 m lower than the normal water level. Inflow of water 1,231 m3/s, total discharge 474 m3/s.

Ban Chat Lake has a water level of 470.26 m, 475 m lower than the normal water level. Water flow to the lake reached 1,142 m3/s, total discharge volume 239 m3/s.

Huo Huoi Quang Lake has a water level of 369.55 m, lower than the normal water level of 370 m. Water flow to the lake is 381 m3/s, total discharge is 341 m3/s.

In the Northeast region, Tuyen Quang reservoir has a water level of 104 m, 120 m lower than the normal water level. Inflow to the reservoir is 657 m3/s, total discharge is 0 m3/s.

Thac Ba Lake has a water level of 54.25 m, 58 m lower than the normal water level. Water flow to the lake is 320 m3/s.

In the North Central region, Ban Ve reservoir has a water level of 189.75 m, 200 m lower than the normal water level. Water inflow is 1,553 m3/s, total discharge is 1,134 m3/s.

Trung Son Lake has a water level of 150.49 m, 160 m lower than the normal water level. Water flow is 1,507 m3/s, total discharge is 871 m3/s.

Khe Bo Lake has a water level of 65 m, equal to the normal water level. The inflow is 549.15 m3/s, the total discharge is 549.16 m3/s.

Quang Tri Lake has a water level of 470.14 m, lower than the normal water level of 480 m. Water flow inflow is 450 m3/s, total discharge is 449 m3/s.

In the South Central Coast, Song Ba Ha reservoir has a water level of 102.49 m, lower than the normal water level by 105 m. The water flow is 1,019 m3/s, the total discharge is 1,200 m3/s.

Song Tranh 2 Lake has a water level of 145.36 m, lower than the normal water level of 175 m. Inflow of water 405.75 m3/s.

A Vuong Lake has a water level of 346.43 m, lower than the normal water level by 380 m. Water flow is 80 m3/s.

In the Central Highlands, Pleikrông reservoir has a water level of 557.33 m, 570 m lower than the normal water level. Inflow of water 832 m3/s, total discharge 440 m3/s.

Ialy Lake has a water level of 504.65 m, lower than the normal water level of 515 m. Water flow is 640 m3/s.

Se San 3 Lake has a water level of 303.25 m, lower than the normal water level of 304.5 m. Inflow 303 m3/s, total discharge 281.55 m3/s.

Se San 3A Lake has a water level of 238.51 m, approximately the normal water level of 238.5 m. Inflow of water 493 m3/s, total discharge 482 m3/s.

In the Southeast region, Tri An reservoir has a water level of 55.03 m, 62.5 m lower than the normal water level. Inflow 930 m3/s, total discharge 514 m3/s.

Thac Mo Lake has a water level of 206.66 m, 218 m lower than the normal water level. Water flow inflow is 198 m3/s, total discharge is 245.31 m3/s.
