Many large hydropower reservoirs across the country continue to maintain below the normal water level, while the water flow to the reservoirs in the Northwest and Central Highlands regions is at a fairly good level.

According to data from Vietnam Electricity Group, at 11:00 AM on May 27, Hoa Binh reservoir had an upstream water level of 104.37m, 12.63m lower than the normal water level. Inflow to the reservoir reached 3, 191m3/s, total discharge through power generation was 2, 929m3/s.

In the Northwest region, Son La Lake has an upstream water level of 195.96m, nearly 19m lower than the normal water level. The total discharge volume of the lake reaches 3, 315m3/s. Lai Chau Lake reaches a water level of 286.85m, water inflow to the lake is 297m3/s.

In the Northeast region, Tuyen Quang reservoir recorded an upstream water level of 105.24m, nearly 15m lower than the normal water level. Total discharge reached 723.72m3/s.

In the North Central region, Ban Ve Lake has an upstream water level of 180.22m, nearly 20m lower than the normal water level. Khe Bo Lake reaches 64.71m, approaching the normal water level of 65m.

In the South Central region, Song Tranh 2 reservoir has a water level of 163.67m, 11m lower than the normal water level. Song Ba Ha reservoir reaches 103.24m, about 1.76m away from the normal water level.

In the Central Highlands, Se San 4 reservoir has an upstream water level of 213.14m, water inflow to the reservoir is 532m3/s. Ialy Lake reaches a water level of 497.12m, while Pleikrông Lake is at 554.33m.

In the Southeast region, Tri An reservoir has an upstream water level of 56.49m, 5.51m lower than the normal water level. The total discharge volume of the reservoir reached 426m3/s.

According to the forecast of the National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting, on May 26, the Northern Delta region, Phu Tho and from Thanh Hoa to Hue City will have intense and especially intense heat with the highest temperature commonly 38-40 degrees Celsius, with some places above 40 degrees Celsius.

Other places in the North and the South Central Coast have hot and intense heat, especially intense in some places with the highest temperature commonly 36-38 degrees Celsius, in some places above 39 degrees Celsius.

Southern region in the late afternoon and evening with scattered showers and thunderstorms, sunny days, hot sun in some places.
