Many hydropower reservoirs in the Central - Central Highlands maintain stable water levels, low water flow, and some reservoirs on the Se San and Khe Bo river systems have high water flow.

According to data from Vietnam Electricity Group, at 8:00 am on May 26, in the North Central region, Khe Bo Hydropower reservoir recorded the largest water inflow to the reservoir in the area with nearly 294m3/s, total discharge flow reached 436.9m3/s, all through the plant. The upstream water level is at an elevation of 64.8m, only 0.2m lower than the normal water level.

Trung Son Hydropower Lake has a water inflow rate of 100m3/s, but has not yet discharged water. Meanwhile, Ban Ve Hydropower Lake recorded a water inflow rate of 64m3/s, with a total discharge rate of 26m3/s.

In the South Central Coast, most reservoirs have low water inflow. A Vuong Hydropower Reservoir has a water inflow rate of 18.49m3/s, total discharge rate of 39.5m3/s. Song Tranh 2 Hydropower Reservoir only achieves 5.73m3/s of water inflow and has not generated water discharge.

Some reservoirs are close to the normal water level, such as Song Ba Ha Hydropower Plant with a water level of 103.37m/105m; Da Mi Hydropower Plant reaches 324.69m/325m.

In the Central Highlands region, the reservoir system on the Se San River continues to maintain a large water flow. Se San 3 Hydropower Reservoir has a water flow to the reservoir reaching 522m3/s, with a total discharge volume of 465m3/s. Se San 3A Hydropower Reservoir recorded a flow of 403m3/s, while Se San 4 Hydropower Reservoir reached 248m3/s and the total discharge volume reached 542m3/s.

Notably, some reservoirs are operating discharging through spillways. An Khe Hydropower Reservoir discharges 8m3/s through 1 surface discharge gate. Srepok 3 Hydropower Reservoir discharges 0.8m3/s through 2 deep discharge gates, while Buon Kuop Hydropower discharges 15.42m3/s through 1 deep discharge gate.

According to the forecast of the National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting, on May 26, the Northern Delta region, Phu Tho and from Thanh Hoa to Hue City will have intense and especially intense heat with the highest temperature commonly 38 - 40 degrees C, with some places above 40 degrees C.

Other places in the North (except Dien Bien and Lai Chau), Da Nang city and eastern provinces from Quang Ngai to Lam Dong have hot and intense heat, especially intense in some places with the highest temperature commonly 36 - 38 degrees C, in some places above 40 degrees C.
