According to data from Vietnam Electricity Group, at 1:15 PM on February 13, Tuyen Quang Hydropower Reservoir had an upstream water level of 113.9 m, 120 m lower than the normal water level; the inflow to the reservoir reached about 99 m3/s, no discharge occurred.
Lai Chau Hydropower Lake is at an altitude of 293.3 m, 295 m lower than the normal water level; inflow to the lake is about 211 m3/s.
At Ban Chat Hydropower reservoir, the water level reached 459.32 m, significantly lower than the normal water level of 475 m; inflow to the reservoir 10 m3/s, total discharge through the plant 57 m3/s.
Huoi Quang Hydropower Reservoir has a water level of 369.96 m, approximately the normal water level of 370 m; inflow to the reservoir 110 m3/s, total discharge through the plant 48 m3/s.
Son La Hydropower Lake recorded a water level of 214.68 m, close to the normal water level of 215 m; inflow to the lake 365 m3/s, total discharge through the plant 120 m3/s.
Meanwhile, Hoa Binh Hydropower reservoir is at an altitude of 112.15 m, lower than the normal water level by 117 m; inflow to the reservoir is 240 m3/s, total discharge through the plant is 233 m3/s.
For Thac Ba Hydropower Reservoir (updated on February 10), the upstream water level reached 54.92 m, lower than the normal water level by 58 m; inflow to the reservoir 93 m3/s, total discharge through the plant 145.92 m3/s.
According to the National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting, the weather forecast for February 14th, the Northern region will have light rain, drizzle and scattered fog at night and early morning, sunny skies in the afternoon. Cold at night and early morning.
