According to hydropower reservoir monitoring system data, at 3:05 pm on August 23, in the Northwest region, Lai Chau reservoir had a water level of 292.64 m, about 2.36 m lower than the normal water level of 295 m. The water flow to the reservoir reached 1,297 m3/s, the total discharge volume was 1,502 m3/s, all through the plant.
Ban Chat Lake has a water level of 470.26 m, about 4.74 m lower than the normal water level of 475 m. Water flow to 1.142 m3/s, total discharge volume 239 m3/s.
Huo Huoi Quang Lake has a water level of 369.55 m, only about 0.45 m lower than the normal water level of 370 m. Inflow to the lake reached 381 m3/s, total discharge volume 341 m3/s.
Son La Lake has a water level of 199.06 m, nearly 16 m lower than the normal water level of 215 m. The water flow to the lake reaches 2,198 m3/s.
Hoa Binh Lake has a water level of 102.19 m, about 14.81 m lower than the normal water level of 117 m. Inflow to the lake reached 1,440 m3/s, total discharge volume 804 m3/s.
In the Northeast region, Tuyen Quang reservoir has a water level of 104.17 m, 120 m lower than the normal water level. The inflow to the reservoir reached 585 m3/s.
Thac Ba Lake has a water level of 54.28 m, 58 m lower than the normal water level. Water flow to the lake reached 370 m3/s, total discharge volume 446.98 m3/s.
In the North Central region, Trung Son Lake has a water level of 150.08 m, 160 m lower than the normal water level. Inflow to the lake is 1,507 m3/s, total discharge is 2,810 m3/s.
Ban Ve Lake has a water level of 189.79 m, 200 m lower than the normal water level. Water flow is 1,552 m3/s, total discharge is 682 m3/s.
Khe Bo Lake has a water level of 65 m, equal to the normal water level. The inflow is 634 m3/s, total discharge is 495.7 m3/s.
Quang Tri Lake has a water level of 470.15 m, lower than the normal water level of 480 m. Water flow inflow is 450 m3/s, total discharge is 279 m3/s.
