Quang Ninh - Heavy rain due to storm No. 4 caused some roads and riverside areas to be locally flooded; Tien Yen river water exceeded alarm level 3.

According to information from the Northern Hydrometeorological Station, in 24 hours, from 3 am on August 22 to 3 am on August 23, due to the impact of storm No. 4 (NARRA), Quang Ninh province has moderate rain, heavy rain, and very heavy rain in some places.

The largest rainfall recorded was in Ky Thuong, Ky Thuong commune, with 265.2mm; Khe Mai, Van Don special zone, 245.8mm; Long Dinh, Van Don special zone, 227.6mm; An Bien, Hoanh Bo ward, 227.4mm; Cua Ong, Cua Ong ward, 222.9mm; Hoanh Bo, Hoanh Bo ward, 219.2mm and Ha Long, Viet Hung ward, 215.4mm.

Heavy rain caused localized flooding on many streets, inter-urban roads and rice and crop areas. Some locations were flooded from 0.3-0.5m deep, affecting people's production and daily life and causing traffic obstruction.

The water level of the Ka Long River rose, causing flooding in the riverside area and spillways in Mong Cai 1, Mong Cai 2, Mong Cai 3 wards and Hai Son, Hai Ninh communes.

The Tien Yen River experienced a large flood, the water level exceeded alarm level 3, is changing and receding slowly. Floodwater caused flooding in riverside and stream areas along with some overflow bridges and culverts in Binh Lieu, Luc Hon and Hoanh Mo communes.
