Many hydropower reservoirs in the North on August 26 continued to be lower than the normal water level, in which Son La reservoir was even lower by 12 m.

According to updated data as of 3:00 PM on August 26, Son La reservoir has a water level of 202.59 m, lower than the normal water level (215 m). The inflow to the reservoir reached 3,240 m3/s, total discharge volume 3,240 m3/s.

Lai Chau Lake has a water level of 292.16 m, 295 m lower than the normal water level. Water flow to the lake is 1,111 m3/s, total discharge is 1,519 m3/s.

At Hoa Binh reservoir, the upstream water level reached 103.79 m, 117 m lower than the normal water level. Inflow to the reservoir 806 m3/s, total discharge 294 m3/s.

Tuyen Quang Lake has a water level of 106.89 m, 120 m lower than the normal water level. Water flow to the lake is 501 m3/s and discharge has not been recorded in updated data.

Ban Chat Lake has a water level of 470.46 m, 475 m lower than the normal water level. Water flow to the lake is 195 m3/s.

Huo Huoi Quang Lake has a water level of 369.43 m, lower than the normal water level of 370 m. Water flow to the lake is 137 m3/s, total discharge is 30 m3/s.

Meanwhile, Thac Ba Lake has a water level of 54.19 m, lower than the normal water level of 58 m. Water flow to the lake is 235 m3/s, total discharge is 296.63 m3/s.
