According to updated data at 11:00 am on August 25, in the North Central region, Ban Ve reservoir has a water level of 192.45 m, 200 m lower than the normal water level. The inflow to the reservoir reached 1,101 m3/s, with a total discharge volume of 823 m3/s.
From 9 am on August 25, Ban Ve reservoir operated to regulate water through the spillway, with a total discharge flow to the downstream area expected from 340 to 1,200 m3/s. The operation is to ensure the safety of the project and cut and reduce floods for the downstream area.
Trung Son Lake has a water level of 153.34 m, 160 m lower than the normal water level; water flows to the lake 1,451 m3/s, total discharge volume 1,393 m3/s. Khe Bo Lake is at 65 m, equal to the normal water level; water flows to the lake and total discharge volume are 1,058.1 m3/s.
In the South Central Coast, Song Ba Ha reservoir has a water level of 102.04 m, lower than the normal water level by 105 m; water flowing to the reservoir is 75 m3/s, total discharge volume 120 m3/s.
