According to data from Vietnam Electricity Group, at 11:00 AM on May 13, in the North Central region, Trung Son Lake had a water level of 157 m, 160 m lower than the normal water level, with a total discharge output of 83 m3/s.
Khe Bo Lake has a flow rate of 89.5 m3/s, total discharge output of 232.4 m3/s. Ban Ve Lake and Quang Tri Lake have not yet generated discharge.
In the South Central region, most lakes have low water flow. Song Tranh 2 Lake discharges 105 m³/s of electricity; River Bung 4 discharges 49 m³/s; A Vuong discharged 10 m³/s; Vinh Son A discharged 9.62 m³/s; Hinh River discharges 19.03 m³/s.
Many other lakes such as Song Bung 2, Vinh Son B, Vinh Son C and Ba Ha River have not yet generated discharge.
In the Central Highlands, lakes maintain electricity generation with moderate flow. Pleikron discharge 124 m³/s; Ialy discharge 94 m³/s; Se San 4 discharges 35 m³/s; Upper Kon Tum discharged 26.58 m³/s.
Some reservoirs discharge through local spillways such as An Khe (8 m3/s), Srepok 3 (0.78 m3/s) and Buon Kuop (15.82 m3/s). Dai Ninh Lake discharges 19 m3/s for power generation, while many other reservoirs have not yet generated discharge.
According to the forecast of the National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting, on May 13th, the Northern region will have scattered showers and thunderstorms in the evening and tonight, with locally heavy rain. Tomorrow it will be sunny with the highest temperature around 31 - 35 degrees Celsius, with some places above 35 degrees Celsius.
The Southern region in the late afternoon and night has showers and thunderstorms in some places; hot sunny days, especially in the East, there are places with intense heat.
