According to data from Vietnam Electricity Group at 9:00 AM on May 11, the Central region recorded Trung Son Hydropower Reservoir reaching a water level of 156.04 m, inflow to the reservoir 218 m3/s and discharge for power generation 85 m3/s.
Ban Ve Hydropower Lake maintains a water level of 184.18 m, currently not discharged for regulation. At Khe Bo Hydropower Plant, the water level is at an elevation of 64.2 m, discharging 95.5 m3/s for power generation.
In the South Central region, Song Bung 4 Hydropower Plant discharges 76 m3/s of electricity; Song Tranh 2 Hydropower Plant maintains a discharge level of 105 m3/s; Song Ba Ha Hydropower Plant discharges 120 m3/s. Meanwhile, A Vuong Hydropower Plant and Song Hinh Hydropower Plant have not generated electricity.
In the Central Highlands, Se San 4 Hydropower reservoir discharges 160 m3/s of electricity; Thuong Kon Tum Hydropower discharges 26.55 m3/s; Dai Ninh Hydropower discharges 9 m3/s.
Some other large reservoirs such as Pleikrông Hydropower Plant, Ialy Hydropower Plant and Đồng Nai 4 Hydropower Plant have not recorded regulated discharge.
According to the forecast of the National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting, on May 11, the Northwest region will have scattered showers and thunderstorms, with locally heavy to very heavy rain. The Northeast region will have scattered showers and thunderstorms; especially the mountainous region will have locally heavy to very heavy rain.
The Southern region in the late afternoon and night has showers and thunderstorms in some places, hot sunny days.
