The water level of many hydropower reservoirs in the Central - Central Highlands region is still below the normal water level.

According to updated data at 2:00 PM on August 20, the Central - Central Highlands region has many hydropower reservoirs below normal water levels. The flow of water to the reservoirs between projects has a large difference.

In the North Central region, Trung Son Lake reached a water level of 150.25 m, 160 m lower than the normal water level. Inflow to the lake is 714 m3/s, total discharge is 570 m3/s.

Ban Ve Lake is at 189.04 m, 200 m lower than the normal water level. Water inflow to the lake reached 507 m3/s, total discharge volume 342 m3/s.

Notably, Khe Bo reservoir is at the normal water level, 65 m. The inflow and total discharge volume both reached 1,468.1 m3/s. Of which, 980.4 m3/s through the spillway and 487.7 m3/s through the plant; 8 surface discharge gates are operating.

Quang Tri Lake has a water level of 468.35 m, 480 m lower than the normal water level. Inflow to the lake reached 97 m3/s.

In the South Central Coast, A Vuong reservoir has a water level of 347.37 m, lower than the normal water level of 380 m. The inflow and total discharge volume are both at 9.8 m3/s.

Song Bung 2 reservoir reached 576.65 m, 605 m lower than the normal water level; water inflow to the reservoir 39.34 m3/s.

Song Bung 4 reservoir is at 207.95 m, 222.5 m lower than the normal water level. Inflow to the reservoir 18 m3/s, total discharge 50 m3/s.

Song Tranh 2 reservoir reached 146.55 m, lower than the normal water level by 175 m; water flowing to the reservoir is 5.75 m3/s.

Song Ba Ha Lake has a water level of 102.73 m, lower than the normal water level of 105 m. Inflow to the lake is 43 m3/s.

Song Hinh Lake is at 198.87 m, lower than the normal water level by 209 m. The inflow and total discharge volume both reached 15.22 m3/s.

In the Central Highlands, Ialy Lake has a water level of 502.8 m, 515 m lower than the normal water level. Inflow reaches 514 m3/s, total discharge volume 128 m3/s.

Pleikrông Lake reached 554.46 m, lower than the normal water level by 570 m. Water inflow to the lake reached 800 m3/s, while the total discharge volume was 71 m3/s.

Se San 3 reservoir has a water level of 303.52 m, only 0.98 m lower than the normal water level of 304.5 m. Inflow to the reservoir 180 m3/s, total discharge volume 230 m3/s.

Se San 3A reservoir reached 238.93 m, 239 m lower than the normal water level; inflow to the reservoir 114 m3/s.

Se San 4 reservoir has a water level of 214.01 m, lower than the normal water level of 215 m. Inflow to the reservoir is 686 m3/s, total discharge is 245 m3/s.

Some other lakes are also below the normal water level, such as Thuong Kon Tum 1,144.32 m compared to 1,160 m; Buon Kuop 411.04 m compared to 412 m; Buon Tua Srah 467.88 m compared to 487.5 m; Dong Nai 3 572.19 m compared to 590 m; Ham Thuan 589.95 m compared to 605 m.
