According to Road Traffic Police Team No. 2, each day the unit arranges two shifts to maintain regular patrol and control activities on assigned routes. In just about 10 days recently, the unit's forces have detected and handled about 350 cases of violations of traffic safety regulations.
Answering Lao Dong Newspaper, Lieutenant Colonel Vo Dong Anh - Deputy Head of Road Traffic Police Team No. 2, Traffic Police Department of Hue City Police said that the unit arranges forces to focus on peak hours in the afternoon and evening to inspect and handle alcohol concentration issues and many other violations in the area.
During this time, when entering the peak tourist season of the city, we will continue to strengthen the handling of alcohol concentration violations, violations in cargo and passenger transport activities to ensure safety for people and tourists, contributing to maintaining social order and safety in the area" - Lieutenant Colonel Vo Dong Anh said.

Present at the alcohol concentration checkpoint of Road Traffic Police Team No. 2, Traffic Police Department of Hue City Police on Le Duan street from 7 pm - 11 pm, reporters recorded that the number of violations has decreased significantly compared to before.
During the duty, the traffic police force randomly checks many traffic participants, from men and women to students and workers. The inspection work is carried out seriously and publicly, without letting go of any cases with signs of violation. However, there are still some cases of using alcohol and then driving vehicles on the road.
According to Lieutenant Colonel Vo Dong Anh, recently there has been a situation where some people after using alcohol and beer switch to using electric motorbikes or electric bicycles with the thought that they will avoid being handled by functional forces.
However, we are still determined to inspect and handle violations for these types of vehicles. This is also a group of vehicles that potentially cause traffic accidents if drivers do not ensure safety conditions when participating in traffic" - Lieutenant Colonel Vo Dong Anh emphasized.
The Traffic Police Department, Hue City Police recommends that people absolutely do not drive vehicles after using alcohol and beer, in order to protect the safety of themselves and those participating in traffic.
