On May 25, according to information from Nam Dinh ward, the situation of illegal construction on agricultural land has still occurred in some residential groups in the area, affecting land use planning and state management of land. Faced with this situation, local authorities are strengthening many solutions to promptly detect, handle and prevent violations right from the grassroots level.
At the beginning of May, when inspecting the area, professional staff of the Economic, Infrastructure and Urban Department of the ward discovered that Mr. Tran Ngoc H (permanently residing in Nam Dinh ward) was completing the final stage of installing sanitary equipment and installing electrical systems at an illegal construction site on agricultural land.
Through inspection, functional forces determined that the violating project has an area of 125.2m2; built brick walls surrounding a single wall 1.6m high; the length of the project is 15.83m and the width is 7.96m.
Immediately after that, the Economic, Infrastructure and Urban Department of the ward coordinated with the residential group to work with the family, made a record requesting to stop construction, self-dismantle the project and restore the original state of the land area.
By May 23, Mr. Tran Ngoc H's family had voluntarily dismantled and relocated all illegally built corrugated iron roofs and iron columns on agricultural land, restoring the original state of the land area. The dismantling process was carried out seriously and safely with the active support of the ward's functional forces.
