At about 11 pm on May 22, during a patrol to ensure security and order in the area, the task force of Mao Dien Commune Police discovered a girl showing signs of being drunk, mentally panicked, continuously intending to rush into the river and run out to National Highway 5. Recognizing the dangerous situation, officers and soldiers immediately approached, persistently preventing the girl's impulsive actions.
Not only quickly ensuring the safety of the victims, Mao Dien Commune Police officers also gently encouraged and reassured the girl to calm down. To avoid possible risks, the task force took the girl to the Commune Police headquarters. Through conversation, the girl said her name was T (born in 1998, from Ha Giang, currently working as a worker in Hai Phong). Due to sadness in love, Ms. T could not control her emotions, leading to negative actions. After grasping the psychology, officers and soldiers continued to advise and encourage Ms. T to stabilize her spirit, and at the same time contacted her roommate to pick her up to a safe place.
The next day, Mao Dien Commune Police officers continued to proactively contact to grasp the health and mental situation of the girl. According to feedback, Ms. T's spirit has now stabilized. The girl also sent sincere thanks to the Mao Dien Commune Police task force for promptly helping her in a moment of loss of composure and impulsive action.
