On September 16, information from the Ministry of Justice said that Deputy Minister of Justice Nguyen Thanh Tinh visited and encouraged officials, civil servants, and public employees of the Justice and Civil Judgment Enforcement (JEJ) sector of Lao Cai province who suffered damage due to storm No. 3.
Mr. Le Ngoc Quynh - Director of Lao Cai Department of Justice - said that after storm No. 3, the whole Lao Cai province suffered very heavy damage. The Justice and THADS sectors did not suffer any loss in terms of human resources, but in terms of assets, many devices at the local offices were affected.
Mr. Quynh said that the leaders of the Department of Justice and the Department of Civil Judgment Enforcement of Lao Cai province have set up working groups, mobilized forces and means to clean up houses to help colleagues who suffered losses, in order to promptly encourage and help colleagues overcome difficulties and soon stabilize their lives.
Next, Mr. Do Ngoc Ba - Director of Lao Cai THADS Department, reported further: "After storm No. 3, although no families of civil servants, public employees, or workers of the THADS Department lost their homes, many houses were flooded, all assets will be unusable, so the recovery work will be very difficult."
Faced with the above situation, Deputy Minister Nguyen Thanh Tinh said he was very concerned about the difficulties in facilities of the Lao Cai Provincial Department of Natural Resources and Environment as well as of each officer and civil servant working there.
Regarding the headquarters, evidence warehouse... affected by storms and floods, the Deputy Minister requested the Lao Cai Department of Enforcement to quickly have a plan to handle, overcome and stabilize the situation soon, especially in the context that the unit is entering the peak of organizing the execution of judgments, completing the target for 2024.
For the Justice and THADS officers whose houses collapsed and suffered heavy losses due to natural disasters, the Deputy Minister requested the collective unit to provide timely support and encourage colleagues to soon overcome difficulties and losses.
On behalf of the Ministry of Justice, Deputy Minister Nguyen Thanh Tinh presented a gift worth 200 million VND to civil servants and public employees of the Justice and THADS sectors of Lao Cai province who suffered damage due to storm No. 3.
